Coreweave Stock Faces Zero Risk Warning

Gil Luria, a leading analyst at DA Davidson, has come up with a new Coreweave stock forecast. Luria has warned that CoreWeave could face a collapse if the AI investment cycle weakens, making it one of the first stocks to suffer. Speaking on the Prof. G Markets Podcast, Luria warned that the company’s equity could become worthless if the AI investment cycle deteriorates further.
“If things don’t go well, if there is any pause, they’re going to quickly not be able to pay their interest payments, and then they’ll go away. So that’s a real risk here. They are highly operationally leveraged because they’re the spillover for AI compute. And then on top of that, they have huge financial leverage because they’re almost entirely debt funded. There’s a company that’s still raising money at 9%. And yet when they invest it, they get maybe 1% return, maybe 3% by the end of the year.”
Luria further shared his reasoning backing his CoreWeave crash warning. He pointed out a gap between the company’s borrowing costs and returns on capital investments. He estimated that the company was borrowing at an average of around 9% while generating returns worth 1% to 3%.
This warning has also come up at a time when the world is debating rising AI bubble fears. Surging AI spending is the primary focus of discussions as of late, with analysts questioning whether such massive investments can be justified by the returns they generate.

Goldman Sachs Sees 73% Upside for CoreWeave Stock
Despite Luria’s CoreWeave stock crash warning, Goldman Sachs has taken a more bullish view of the stock. The firm upgraded CoreWeave from Neutral to Buy but lowered its price target from $139 to $106. Despite the reduction, the revised target implied approximately 73% upside from the share price at the time of the report. The upgrade came after CoreWeave stock fell 24% over five trading sessions.
Goldman Sachs believes that CoreWeave may end up benefiting from tight computing capacity and has a stronger position than some other specialized cloud providers. The firm also expects revenue generated per megawatt of computing capacity, and returns before financing costs, to have room to improve over the next 24 months.
The two forecasts show a stark contrast in how analysts view CoreWeave stock at the moment. Rising AI bubble fears are weighing on investor confidence, while Goldman Sachs sees potential upside despite the recent sell-off. CoreWeave may have to find a way to manage its credit requirements and future financing costs while generating enough returns to reassure investors that its expansion can be sustained.
MarketCapOf data shows that CoreWeave (CRWV) trades at a market capitalization of approximately $34.12 billion, compared with Nebius (NBIS) at $41.44 billion. The comparison tool estimates that CoreWeave’s market cap is around 0.82 times Nebius’s, highlighting the valuation gap between two companies competing in the AI infrastructure market. For investors assessing the CoreWeave stock forecast, this difference offers another angle on AI bubble concerns and potential CoreWeave crash risks
