A new report by CoinGecko has brought HYPE back into the primary spotlight. The report mentions how HYPE managed to surge 40.5% in four days to $82, banking on the announcement made by President Donald Trump.

On August 19, Trump reportedly announced that CFTC Chairman Michael Selig was working to bring Hyperliquid to the US market. The news helped the token surge to its highest, helping the asset reach $98 by September 23.

“On August 19, 2026, US President Donald Trump announced that the CFTC’s chairman, Michael Selig, is working to bring Hyperliquid to the US market, sparking a +40.5% four-day rally to an all-time high (ATH) price at the time of $82. HYPE’s average daily trading volume rose +35.2% quarter-on-quarter to $0.85 billion in Q3, from $0.63 billion in Q2. The rally peaked on September 23, with HYPE hitting an ATH of $98.”

HYPE token average daily trading volume also surged in this process.

Its average daily volume rose by 35.2% QoQ to $850M. Such figures have pointed towards a strong Hyperliquid rally, making HYPE price predictions bullish for the future.

Grayscale HYPE Buying Continues While Other ETF Flows Weaken

HYPE ETF inflows are also giving credible insights about the token’s momentum. Per the latest stats reported by Arkham, Grayscale’s HYPG inflows has recorded $7.8M in net HYPE purchases over a 20-day period. In comparison, 21Shares THYP witnessed outflows worth $20.9M.

This contrast suggests mixed flows across the two products, although it does not necessarily establish broader consumer sentiment. However, a potential Hyperliquid entry into the US may change the dynamics, fueling Hyperliquid rally prospects and influencing the HYPE price.

How High Can the HYPE Price Go in the Future?

According to the CoinCodex HYPE price outlook, the HYPE price may hit a new high of $157 by October 2027. This target should be checked against CoinCodex’s latest forecast before publication.

“Hyperliquid is forecasted to hit $64.28 by the end of 2026 (-19.33% compared to current rates), $137.63 by 2030 (+72.72%), $296.94 by 2040 (+272.64%), and $865.82 by 2050 (+986.58).”

Continued trading activity and buying momentum may become the two most important aspects for the Hyperliquid rally to hold for long. In addition to this, progress toward a potential US market entry may also act as a catalyst for its future price momentum, supporting bullish HYPE price outlook. However, forecasts are subject to change, as crypto markets are known for their volatility and fluctuations.
