Bitcoin is once again gaining central attention as Michael Saylor, former CEO of Strategy, has now come up with a new BTC forecast. Per Saylor, the Bitcoin price could be entering a bull market, which could last for two to three years. Saylor shared this update while speaking at his company’s Q3 earnings call, stating how BTC has now bounced off its 200-week moving average and may start showing new momentum. His bullish outlook has arrived at a time when the US midterm elections have strengthened the Democratic stance, with certain lawmakers calling for tighter crypto oversight, clouding crypto regulation efforts.

Bitcoin bull market momentum is gaining solid ground as Michael Saylor predicted a new BTC path. Per Saylor, Bitcoin has now bounced off its 200-week moving average and may be entering into a new price phase.

He later outlined how Bitcoin’s growing institutional demand and market dominance placed around 67% may play a major role in this process. The former CEO of Strategy was quick to outline how Bitcoin ETFs have recorded approximately $6.3B in inflows in Q3, 2026.

He considered this development as a positive sign, supporting the bullish Bitcoin momentum. Saylor later shared how digital credit and traditional bank lending may absorb all newly issued BTC. He further emphasizes how monetary expansion, tokenization, and the next Bitcoin halving in 2028 may also support Bitcoin price and its demand.

Michael Saylor had earlier also shared his expectation that Bitcoin could move back above the $100,000 mark within the next 12 months. While he has not guaranteed when this level will be reached, his forecast gives investors another price milestone to watch. To understand what such a move could mean for an investment, the MCO ROI calculator estimates that a hypothetical $1,000 investment in Bitcoin at $75,559 would generate a profit of $323.47 if BTC reaches $100,000.

US Midterm Results Put Crypto Regulation in Focus

The US midterm elections have added a new layer of concern for the crypto arena. Democrats have won the majority and control of both chambers. In this process, concerns around Democrats being unfavorable for crypto regulatory support have now started to gain steam.

Per the latest post by Coin Bureau, Elizabeth Warren is expected to become the chair of the Senate Banking Committee. This role would give Warren greater influence over crypto legislation, fueling such concerns to a new extent. However, her appointment has not yet been formally confirmed.

However, such results do not completely mean that crypto would be kept on the sidelines. Per Cryptoslate, the Stand With Crypto election scorecard counted 241 pro-crypto winners in its November 4 tally.

This includes 222 House candidates and 19 Senate candidates. In addition to this, Ripple’s Brad Garlinghouse shared how support for digital assets crosses party lines. He later added how pro-crypto lawmakers had won on both sides of the political lines. It would be interesting to see how the crypto regulation journey evolves from now on with Democrats exploring the crypto regulation mechanism.
