MarketCapOf is a website covering financial markets, crypto markets, stocks and much more. On this page you will find information about the company, its values, and how to reach us.
Ethics policy
We don’t take money for advertisements. All of our content is written by a team to be read by a readership. If a writer is partnered with someone then that writer must declare an interest before writing a story on that topic even if that story is one that the writer’s partner would prefer not to see in print.
Any writers or editors covering a story will declare any personal financial positions as well as any relationships they may have. These will be dealt with prior to publication where necessary.
Corrections policy
On the rare occasion we mess up, we will correct the error(s) made and notify readers of the correction(s) made at the bottom of the page with the date it was corrected. Note that we will not attempt to ‘fix’ an error in a later update without leaving a paper trail of said changes.
Oops! Did we mess something up? Inform us via the Contact page for any error in our reports. We shall respond to you as soon as possible.
Diversity policy
As MarketCapOf covers global markets, the sources, analysts and contributors to our articles will also be from around the world. Our goal is to go beyond having the same small number of sources be quoted in every article.
Editorial policy (mission and coverage priorities)
MarketCapOf is a global financial portal. It features articles about the crypto markets, and stock market. Our guide and analysis are meant to provide our readers with the necessary knowledge to be able to make their own decisions on the market.
- Market news with a direct financial impact on readers
- Our in-depth analysis of what is moving the markets and the reasons behind current price actions.
- Guides that give readers enough context to make their own calls
No promotional content is published to pump an asset or from someone who has been commercially commissioned to write an article on MarketCapOf and has not declared such in the article title. Such sponsored content is clearly marked.
Fact-checking policy
Claims are sourced from primary sources such as on-chain data and exchange data. Secondary sources are cross-checked against each other where necessary. Opinion pieces and analyses are clearly labeled as such so that our readers know what they are reading.
Unnamed sources policy
Unnamed sources are used very occasionally. We always verify information from such sources against at least one other.
People will be anonymous if we believe they have a legitimate reason to fear for their safety but we will be aware of their identity. The editor will be aware of their identity. This will not be used as a means to go after someone’s reputation anonymously.
Feedback policy
If we have gotten something wrong, or have not provided adequate context to a story we have written then please let us know via the Contact page. We take all feedback seriously and if we believe it to be serious enough then it will go to the editor of the story.
