- Robinhood stock surged 16.6% to $124.72 as Bitcoin rallied and Wall Street analysts raised their price targets
- Robinhood Chain recorded roughly $4 million in daily revenue, although those fees do not flow directly into the company’s financials
- AMC CEO Adam Aron condemned Robinhood’s AMC stock token and asked outside securities counsel to examine the product
Robinhood stock jumped nearly 17% as Bitcoin climbed and traders piled back into crypto-linked names. Amidst this, Robinhood Chain had just posted record daily revenue, while several analysts were raising their targets for HOOD. But the celebration came with a complication. AMC CEO Adam Aron was publicly attacking Robinhood’s stock-token push and asking securities lawyers to examine it.

Robinhood Stock Rally Goes Beyond Crypto

HOOD stock closed 16.6% higher at $124.72, becoming the S&P 500’s best performer of the session. Bitcoin’s climb above $80,000 helped, though the improving Robinhood stock forecast rests increasingly on businesses outside crypto trading.
Morgan Stanley upgraded the shares to overweight and lifted its target from $124 to $150. Scotiabank began coverage with a $136 target, while Piper Sandler moved to $145. The Morgan Stanley Robinhood price target reflects growth in prediction markets, banking, and asset-based revenue rather than another crypto boom.
Robinhood’s second-quarter results lend that argument some weight. Revenue rose 32% year over year to a record $1.31 billion, despite crypto revenue falling 38%. Event-contract revenue reached $156 million, up from $10 million a year earlier.
Robinhood Blockchain Activity Breaks Records
The Robinhood stock price also benefited from excitement around its two-month-old network. DeFiLlama data showed Robinhood Chain producing roughly $4 million in daily revenue, with seven-day revenue passing $15 million.

This does not mean the full amount lands on Robinhood’s balance sheet. Despite this, the activity gives investors an early measure of demand for the Robinhood blockchain and its growing collection of onchain products.
AMC Stock Token Draws a Furious Response
Robinhood tokenized stocks is also creating friction. AMC CEO Adam Aron said his company had no involvement in the AMC stock token and called the practice “contemptible” and “outrageous.” He plans to have outside securities counsel examine it.
Robinhood stock tokens give eligible European customers economic exposure to companies, but they do not provide conventional ownership or voting rights. This distinction sits at the heart of the dispute over tokenized stocks.
AMC’s objection does not erase Robinhood’s improving numbers. But it does expose a legal and reputational risk now attached to one of the company’s boldest growth bets.
