XRP Price Jumps 5% as $2.2B Whale Buying Revives $1,000 Target

XRP price has climbed back above $1.45, and large holders appear to have been buying into the recovery. Analyst Ali Martinez says XRP whales added about 1.54 billion tokens in four days, a haul worth roughly $2.2 billion. This has given fresh oxygen to an XRP price prediction that refuses to disappear which is $1,000. The accumulation is real enough to examine. The logic behind that target is far harder to find.

XRP Price Rises as Whale Balances Swell

XRP was trading around $1.47 at press time, up nearly 7% over 24 hours, according to latest reports. Daily trading volume stood near $3.54 billion, while its market capitalization had moved above $92 billion.

The rebound follows a sharp increase in tokens held by large wallets. Martinez said whales accumulated roughly 1.54 billion XRP over 96 hours, valued at approximately $2.2 billion at current prices.

This does not really mean $2.2 billion in fresh capital entered the market. Whale balances can rise through exchange withdrawals, transfers between wallets, or changes in how addresses are classified. But the timing gives the latest move more substance than price action alone. The rally has also pushed one of XRP’s most ambitious forecasts back into the news.

XRP Price Prediction Reaches $1,000

Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett recently noted that her X feed had become crowded with posts promoting a $1,000 XRP target. Much of the renewed discussion followed comments linked to EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok, who has previously argued that a four-figure price is becoming more plausible.

Kwok’s latest post did not explicitly name XRP. But the prediction comes without a clear timeline or detailed valuation model. Supporters have pointed to his reported experience at Goldman Sachs and Circle, but professional credentials alone do not explain how XRP could reach such a valuation.

XRP currently has approximately 62.88 billion tokens in circulation, according to CoinMarketCap. At $1,000 each, its circulating market value would approach $62.9 trillion. Applying the target to the maximum supply of 100 billion tokens produces a fully diluted valuation of $100 trillion. From $1.47, XRP would also need to rise nearly 68,000%.

Market capitalization does not represent the precise amount of money invested in an asset, so XRP would not literally require $62.9 trillion of new inflows. Maintaining that price would demand liquidity, adoption, and sustained buying on a scale the market has never demonstrated. The latest accumulation by XRP whales may support the current recovery. It does not yet offer a credible route to $1,000.
