Institutional interest around XRP is now strengthening. In a new announcement, Ripple shared how Brevan Howard is expanding its relationship with the firm. The announcement has come at a time when XRP ETFs are attracting significant capital, with Bitwise XRP ETF clients purchasing $10.07M worth of XRP .

Brevan Howard Expands Its Relationship With Ripple

Brevan Howard, a leading fund manager with nearly $35B AUM, has announced its new plans with Ripple. The fund manager intends to use Ripple Prime for its multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services. This agreement covers funds managed by Brevan Howard and will be covering both traditional and digital markets.
“This reflects growing demand from top-tier investment managers globally for prime brokerage solutions across traditional and digital markets within a regulated, enterprise-grade framework. Brevan Howard will now have access to comprehensive prime services spanning asset classes and products, benefiting from Ripple Prime’s unified platform that is designed to enhance capital efficiency and operational simplicity.”
The current announcement is an extension of the existing services that both companies were sharing earlier. Funds managed by Brevan Howard affiliates participated in Ripple’s $500M strategic investment round in 2025.
Ripple Prime is one of the core services offered by Ripple, which started when the company acquired Hidden Road. Ripple Prime provides institutional services across digital assets, foreign exchange, derivatives, swaps, and fixed income.

Institutional Interest Surge Coinciding With Rising XRP ETF Demand
As Ripple closes in with Brevan Howard, the XRP ETFs are attracting momentum, signalling a renewed pathway for the asset. Per the latest data, Bitwise’s XRP ETF clients have purchased nearly $10.07M of XRP. The ETF is now holding nearly $619M worth of XRP, at around $619.42M as of October 5, up from roughly $507.47M on September 4.
The recent data shared by Cointelegraph further highlights how XRP ETFs have continued to attract fresh inflows, adding to the growing institutional interest around the asset.
