HYPE Price Eyes $100 Amid Buybacks, ICE Deal and $224M Paradigm Unstaking

HYPE price

Hyperliquid bought back more than $65 million of HYPE over the past month, providing a steady source of demand during a rough week for crypto. The HYPE price has also beaten Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana in a comparison of returns following the Binance hack. Analyst Michaël van de Poppe thinks $100 is within reach. Beyond the purchases, two developments could shape what comes next, and one involves millions of tokens leaving staking.

Buybacks Top $65 Million

Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund completed $65.1 million in HYPE purchases in the 30 days through November 1, according to recent data. That included $4.87 million on October 29 and another $1.23 million on November 1.

In addition, community researcher Vikingos.hl reported $73.3 million in October protocol revenue. Trading fees help fund the purchases, while AQAv2 adds income from USDC reserves. Under that framework, most cost-adjusted reserve yield goes to the protocol, providing another funding source for HYPE buybacks.

HYPE Outperforms Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana

A recent comparison following the Binance hack showed HYPE gaining 15.1%, while Bitcoin fell 2.1%, Ethereum lost 1.5%, and Solana declined 6.2% over the chart’s selected period.

MarketCapOf’s ROI calculator shows a hypothetical $1,000 investment in HYPE growing to $3,538.03 between January 1 and October 30. Bitcoin would have left the same investor with $882.52, which is a 253.8% gain versus an 11.7% loss, before fees. These are price returns, but the comparison does not include income from staking HYPE.

HYPE Price Prediction Puts $100 Back in View

Van de Poppe’s HYPE price prediction allows for a retreat to $80–$84 before another advance. He identified $112–$116 as his next upside target. From the Hyperliquid price of approximately $86.63, a move to $100 would mean another 15.4% gain.

ICE Plans US Markets as Paradigm Unstakes $224M

ICE agreed on October 29 to invest in Trade.xyz and pursue US-regulated perpetual markets built on Hyperliquid. Regulatory approvals remain necessary. The proposed venue would offer retail traders around-the-clock exposure to crypto, equities, commodities, and foreign exchange, operating separately from ICE’s institutional futures business.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Paradigm’s HYPE unstaking involved 2.55 million tokens across 15 wallets, worth about $224 million. The analyst said earlier withdrawals had been followed by consolidation and restaking. These movements alone don’t establish a sale.
