- DJT stock fell 24.54% to a record-low close of $4.49 on November 4
- Trump Media-linked wallets transferred approximately $344 million in Bitcoin to Crypto.com, and a sale has not been confirmed
- Trump Media could face up to $1 billion in cash repayments on November 30 if all eligible noteholders exercise their repurchase rights
DJT stock ended Wednesday at a record low after losing nearly a quarter of its value. Hours later, wallets linked to Donald Trump’s media company sent thousands of Bitcoin to Crypto.com. The movement has raised questions about whether the company is preparing to sell. Holders of Trump Media’s convertible notes can demand their money back in cash this month, even though the debt does not mature until 2028.

DJT Stock Closes at $4.49

Donald Trump’s Trump Media stock closed at $4.49 on November 4, down 24.54% from $5.95 the previous session. It touched $4.46 during trading. The decline followed Democrats’ victory in the US midterm elections.
The stock is now about 97.4% below the $175 intraday high reached by Digital World Acquisition Corp., its SPAC predecessor, in October 2021. That historical comparison includes the period before Trump Media began trading under the DJT ticker.

The subsequent Bitcoin movement involved approximately 4,259 BTC, valued by Lookonchain at $343.67 million. Reports revealed that the sending wallets were labeled as collateral for convertible notes. Crypto.com also serves as a custody partner, so the transfer alone does not establish a sale.

A Cash Repurchase Date Approaches
Trump Media’s June quarterly filing disclosed 4,260.73 BTC pledged against convertible notes, almost the same quantity as the transfer.
A November 2 SEC filing says noteholders can require cash repurchases on November 30. If all exercise that right, Trump Media could have to pay approximately $1 billion. The company lists refinancing among its options and warns that it may need to sell Bitcoin or other digital assets if other measures prove insufficient.
In addition, Eric Trump’s American Bitcoin, a different listed company, reported 8,427 BTC in reserves at September 30 and $63.4 million in quarterly mining revenue. Those holdings belong to the miner, rather than Trump Media.

MarketCapOf’s ROI calculator shows the gap between owning Bitcoin and DJT. Its displayed January 1–November 5 comparison values hypothetical $2,000 investments at $1,837.35 for Bitcoin and $811.90 for DJT, losses of about 8.13% and 59.41%. This leaves a $1,025.45 gap between the hypothetical portfolios.
Trump Media’s next scheduled financial update is its third-quarter earnings release on November 9, after the US market closes.
