AMD Stock in Focus as Meta’s Muse Hits 10M Activations and Data Center Sales Jump 97%

AMD stock

When someone signs up for Meta Muse, an AMD server processor does some of the work behind the scenes. Millions have already activated the service. This gives the chipmaker another source of demand to watch. For investors following AMD stock, the latest earnings call revealed more than record sales figures. Lisa Su’s comments pointed to a growing role for CPUs as AI agents move from answering questions to carrying out tasks for users.

On AMD’s recent earnings call, chief executive Lisa Su said more than 10 million people had activated Muse agents in six weeks. She described agents working continuously across applications as a growing source of CPU demand.

AMD confirmed in October that its EPYC processors support Muse’s dedicated computing environments. Meta has deployed millions of EPYC processors across several generations.

The opportunity extends beyond Muse. Su said OpenAI selected Turin EPYC processors to host its first custom accelerator platforms. Early demand for the newer Venice generation was “the strongest we have seen for any new EPYC generation,” she said.

AMD Earnings Show the Data Center Shift

AMD reported $13.38 billion in Q3 revenue, up 45% annually. Data Center sales rose 97% to approximately $8.5 billion, supported by EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs.

Adjusted earnings reached $2.09 per share, compared with $1.46 under GAAP. AMD expects Q4 revenue of approximately $17 billion, plus or minus 3%. Elsewhere, Client and Gaming revenue fell 8% to $3.7 billion.

Investors following Meta stock are also watching how it pays for that capacity. Reports revealed a $15 billion bond offering as Meta pursues annual capital spending of $135 billion–$145 billion. AMD has also committed $1 billion to Meta’s equity offering, making it an investor in one of its major customers.

What Would AMD Stock Be Worth at Meta?

MarketCapOf puts AMD at approximately $834.24 per share if it matched Meta’s market capitalisation. That is about 1.65 times the starting valuation. A holding of 20 AMD shares would have an estimated value of $16,684.81. This profit would depend on the original purchase cost.

The calculation holds AMD’s share count and Meta’s market cap constant. For shareholders, the next few quarters will show whether expanding EPYC adoption can sustain the growth AMD is promising.
