Oracle stock is under pressure just as one Wall Street analyst grows more confident about the company’s future. A brand new financing deal promises to help pay for its cloud expansion. But shareholders face a more immediate cost. New shares are being offered below the market price, and the accompanying debt carries hefty interest payments. With Nvidia holding up better this year, Oracle now has to show what investment it will get for backing its AI ambitions.
Oracle Share Sale Prices New Stock at $116

Shares closed November 2 at $119.22, down 8.8%, after Oracle launched the fundraising. Later that evening, the company priced roughly 86.2 million new shares at $116 each alongside $10 billion in bonds.
The Oracle share sale carries an 11.2% discount to Friday’s close and 2.7% to Monday’s. It should deliver about $9.9 billion net, with both offerings expected to close November 4. Oracle lists capital spending and debt repayment among the possible uses.
Bond coupons range from 7% to 8.65%. The five tranches would carry roughly $777 million in annual coupon payments, calculated from their announced rates and principal amounts. Existing investors would hold a smaller percentage of the company after the new shares are issued.

Stephens Raises Its Oracle Price Target to $213
Stephens analyst Brett Huff takes a more optimistic view. He upgraded Oracle to Overweight from Equal Weight and raised his target to $213 from $185, citing improved funding visibility and higher free cash flow expectations.

Oracle expects free cash flow to turn positive in the second half of FY28. Its $20 billion ceiling on additional capital-market funding through FY30 excludes refinancing and follows a separate $20 billion equity raise already completed. Customer prepayments and vendor financing are expected to reduce upfront cash needs as Oracle’s AI investment continues. Management also targets annual revenue of at least $225 billion by FY30, compared with $67.36 billion in FY26.
