Its portfolio also extends to Block 12 in Cyprus (approximately 386 km²) and the substantial Boujdour Atlantique exploration license (around 33,812 km²) located in the southern Moroccan exclusive economic zone. NewMed Energy supplies natural gas to various clients, such as independent power producers, marketing companies, and industrial consumers, and exports natural gas to Jordan and Egypt. NewMed Energy Management Ltd. functions as the company's general partner. Originally incorporated in Herzliya, Israel, in 1993, the company was formerly known as Delek Drilling - Limited Partnership before adopting its current name in February 2022. It operates as a subsidiary of Delek Energy Systems Ltd.
