XRP Price Surges 50% as ETF Inflows Return, Can Bulls Push to $2?

xrp price

XRP’s price has made a sharp comeback after slipping below $1 earlier this month, but the latest move is starting to face a more important test. XRP has climbed more than 50% from its August low, while spot ETF demand has picked up at the same time. This has brought the $2 mark back into the headlines. Still, XRP has a major resistance zone to clear first, and the next move could depend on whether buyers can keep the momentum going.

XRP Price Rally Gets a Boost From ETF Inflows

XRP fell to around $0.99 on August 11 before staging a strong recovery. At press time, XRP was trading at $1.46 following a daily drop of 1.4%.

ETF demand has also improved. Spot XRP ETFs recorded roughly $39.78 million in weekly inflows, their strongest week since May, according to SoSoValue data. The daily total net inflow sits at $18.38 million at the moment. This gives the latest XRP rally a stronger backdrop than a move driven purely by short-term traders.

The broader crypto market has helped, too. Bitcoin gained roughly 23% over the same period, suggesting some of XRP’s rebound is part of a wider recovery in risk appetite.

The rebound has brought XRP close to an area where sellers could step back in. The $1.65-$1.70 range is the immediate resistance zone, and a clean break above it would put $2 firmly on the radar. This makes the next few sessions more important than the size of the rally so far. XRP has already made the easy move from below $1. The harder part is proving buyers are willing to keep chasing it at higher prices.

CoinCodex XRP Prediction Points to $2

Source: CoinCodex

CoinCodex’s XRP price prediction points toward the $2 level by September, giving bulls another reason to watch the current setup. Model-based forecasts aren’t guarantees, but the target lines up with the next major psychological level traders are already watching.

The XRP ETF flows will be worth watching alongside price. The next big test for XRP is $1.70. If it can break and hold above that level, $2 starts looking realistic. But a rejection there could put some of the recent gains at risk.
