- NEAR price rose 10.1% to $5.28 following Robinhood Chain integration news, with a separate update placing it ahead of Stellar XLM
- Growing NEAR Intents activity supports the bullish outlook, though price forecasts depend on revenue growth and valuation assumptions
- A hypothetical $1,000 investment in NEAR grew to $3,497.60 from January 1 to October 10, 2026, versus $981.65 for XLM
NEAR Protocol moved against the crypto market’s decline, with a 10.1% daily gain at $5.28 following news of its Robinhood Chain integration. Amidst this, the token is ahead of Stellar XLM and inside the top 20 by market cap. The NEAR price rally brings attention to its cross-chain business, but investors have another question to weigh. Can growing activity turn this burst of interest into something that lasts beyond today?

Robinhood Chain Expands NEAR Intents’ Reach

Robinhood Chain support gives applications using NEAR Intents another network through which to exchange assets. Users specify the swap they want, while the infrastructure handles execution across chains.
The recent announcement brought renewed attention to the integration, although the official NEAR Intents changelog records support from September 18. Its documentation explains that the 1Click Swap API lets applications request quotes, execute cross-chain swaps, and track their progress.
For developers, the benefit is access to another network without building a separate swap system. Whether that access produces lasting demand will depend on how much users actually trade.
NEAR Price Prediction Depends on Revenue Growth
NEAR Protocol token buybacks feature prominently in the investment case presented by Our Crypto Talk. Its analysis uses estimated monthly Intents volume of $4.7 billion and $2.07 million in monthly revenue as a starting point.
The model produces prices of approximately $6.21, $11.80, and $27.95 under three growth scenarios. Each assumes the market continues paying the same 243× multiple for the model’s combined buyback and fee-burning measure.

This assumption carries considerable weight. Higher revenue would not necessarily translate into those prices if investors assigned a lower multiple.
The official revenue dashboard also distinguishes gross fees from revenue retained after payments to partners, solvers, and applications. This is important when assessing how much activity can ultimately support buybacks.

NEAR Beats XLM in Rank, but Trails Its 2025 Return
NEAR’s move past Stellar comes alongside a much stronger performance this year. MarketCapOf’s comparison tool shows that a hypothetical $1,000 investment in NEAR on January 1, 2026, would be worth $3,497.60 by October 10. This translates to a 249.76% gain, or $2,497.60 in profit.

The same investment in Stellar XLM would be worth $981.65, a 1.84% loss. NEAR would therefore leave the investor with $2,515.95 more over the same period.
The comparison puts the latest NEAR price rally in context. Its lead over XLM extends well beyond a single day’s trading.
