Cardano Price Climbs 42% Amid 413 Whale Transfers and Programmable Token Launch

Cardano price

Cardano price has recovered sharply from September’s lows, and large holders are moving again. The rebound has also brought ADA back into crypto discussions after a quieter stretch. Santiment’s latest figures show rising activity alongside the price recovery, while a fresh mainnet launch gives investors another development to assess. The question now is if this will last.

Cardano Price Recovery Brings Whales Back

Cardano’s market capitalization and price increased around 42% since September 16, according to Santiment’s latest report. Over that stretch, ADA price climbed from roughly $0.19 to $0.27. At press time, the altcoin was trading at $0.25.

Cardano whales became more active as the recovery unfolded. Transactions worth at least $100,000 reached 413 in one day, the highest count since June 4. Social dominance also reached 1.16%, its strongest reading of 2026, showing ADA accounted for a larger share of tracked crypto discussions.

Those transfers deserve attention, though the count alone cannot establish whether large holders were buying, selling, or moving funds between wallets. More discussion also means more eyes on ADA, rather than necessarily more money entering the market.

Cardano Profit From a $1,000 Purchase Near the Monthly Low

The rebound looks more tangible in dollar terms. Using $0.19 as the monthly-low entry price, a hypothetical $1,000 purchase would acquire approximately 5,263 ADA.

At the $0.27 valuation used in MarketCapOf’s Crypto Profit Calculator, that holding would be worth $1,421.05. The resulting Cardano profit would be $421.05, or 42.11%, before fees and taxes.

Cardano Programmable Tokens Go Live

Moving away from the price and other on-chain metrics, the Cardano Foundation announced that CIP-0113 went live on October 7. Cardano programmable tokens allow issuers of stablecoins, funds, and other regulated assets to attach compliance requirements directly to their tokens.

These can include identity checks, sanctions screening, and transfer restrictions, enforced when tokens move, are minted, or burned. The standard required no hard fork and launches with support from Eternl, GeroWallet, CardanoScan, and BloxBean.

For issuers, the practical attraction is keeping those requirements attached as assets circulate. The launch came after the recovery began. Its longer-term significance will depend on which projects use the standard and how much activity they bring to Cardano.
