By December 31, 2021, VERBUND AG's power generation assets included 8,307 megawatts (MW) of hydropower, 418 MW from wind farms, 3 MW from solar installations, and 1,013 MW from thermal power plants. In addition to its electricity activities, the company oversees Austria's national electricity transmission network, manages a long-distance gas pipeline and a gas distribution network, participates in gas trading and sales, and delivers a variety of energy-related services.
