Concurrently, the Operations & Maintenance division is dedicated to the continuous management, oversight, and upkeep of these wind energy facilities. The company boasts an impressive cumulative installed capacity of approximately 107 gigawatts. Established in 1976 and headquartered in Zamudio, Spain, the firm was initially known as Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, Sociedad Anónima, before rebranding to Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. in May 2017. Currently, it functions as a subsidiary of Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG.
