Additionally, it produces polybutadiene rubber and solution styrene butadiene rubber, key components for tire manufacturing. Beyond chemicals, Barito Pacific operates in the geothermal energy sector. Its property division undertakes real estate management, develops industrial and commercial properties, commercial complexes, office spaces, and standard factory buildings, and owns and manages hotels. The company's diverse portfolio further includes logistics and adhesive production. Established in 1979 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the company was formerly known as PT Barito Pacific Timber Tbk before changing its name in 2007.
