BlackBerryโ€™s IoT segment encompasses BlackBerry QNX, which provides the Neutrino operating system, the QNX CAR platform, and various embedded system solutions. This portfolio also features BlackBerry Jarvis, a cloud-based platform for static application security testing; BlackBerry Certicom products for cryptography and management; BlackBerry Radar for asset monitoring; and BlackBerry IVY, an intelligent data platform designed for vehicles. Additionally, the company delivers enterprise and cybersecurity consulting services. The Licensing and Other segment manages BlackBerry's substantial intellectual property, including patent licensing, and collects fees for legacy services. As of February 28, 2022, BlackBerry maintained an extensive global patent portfolio of approximately 38,000 patents and applications.
