PETRONAS Gas Berhad focuses on extracting different components from natural gas, subsequently storing, transporting, distributing, and selling these processed materials to industrial users throughout Malaysia. The company's activities are organized into four main segments. The Gas Processing division converts natural gas into salable gas and other valuable by-products such as ethane, propane, and butane. Its Gas Transportation segment oversees the movement of sales gas across extensive pipeline infrastructure, including the Peninsular Gas Utilization network and the Pengerang Integrated Complex, also providing crucial operation and maintenance support for these systems. The Regasification segment specializes in converting liquefied natural gas (LNG) back into its gaseous state, alongside offering services like LNG reloading, truck loading, and specialized gassing up and cooling down procedures. Finally, the Utilities segment is responsible for the production, marketing, and provision of essential industrial utilities to petrochemical facilities and the national electricity grid, complete with associated operational and maintenance services. Established in 1983, PETRONAS Gas Berhad is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and operates as a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad.
