Its extensive product range includes vehicles for urban transit, intercity travel, school transportation, airfield operations, and other specialized applications, alongside a significant emphasis on electric vehicle models. In addition to its core bus manufacturing business, the company diversifies its operations through several other ventures. These include engaging in import and export trade, the manufacturing and distribution of automotive components and air conditioning systems, and providing a range of services. These services cover tourist passenger transport, property management, logistics (encompassing transportation and warehousing), and vehicle rental solutions. Yutong also participates in the sale of automobiles and related accessories, undertakes real estate development and management, manages asset operations and investments, and develops and sells software. As of the close of 2020, Yutong Bus had established a robust service infrastructure, operating 220 directly managed chartered service stations and an additional 330 authorized service outlets. The company, which was originally named Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., was founded in 1963 and maintains its headquarters in Zhengzhou, China.
