Strategy Keeps Adding More Bitcoin

Michael Saylor’s Strategy has once again made its latest BTC purchase, ramping up its Bitcoin holdings. The latest purchase was made between September 21 and September 27. With this recent purchase, Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings have now hit 847,766 BTC. The company continues to portray itself as a leading Bitcoin-focused company. Corporate Bitcoin Adoption Is Steadily Growing
Strategy’s recent Bitcoin purchase has outlined a broader market narrative. A recent study conducted by River found that public companies are increasingly building their own Bitcoin exposure, buying BTC at a rapid pace. The report found that the number of public companies holding BTC rose to 194 in 2026 from 74 in 2025. River described this as 2.5x growth in public-company Bitcoin adoption in 2025.
Businesses have also started to increase their Bitcoin exposure, adding $54B worth of BTC to their balance sheets in 2025, according to River. Bitcoin treasury companies made up a large part of those corporate holdings.
These numbers show that Bitcoin holdings and BTC adoption are spreading beyond a small group of companies, with more businesses adding the asset to their balance sheets.
