It operates through Integrated Food Consumer Products and Trading Activities, Plantations, and Other Segments. The company extracts fresh fruit bunches into crude palm oil and palm kernel, and processes into value-added products, such as cooking oil, margarine, shortening, oleochemicals, and biodiesel. It also provides cooking oil products under the Filma, Kunci Mas, Mitra, and Masku brands; industrial margarines and shortening products under the Filma, Palmboom, Menara, Palmvita and Goodfry brand names; and specialty fat products under I-soc brand. In addition, the company offers fatty acids, glycerin, and soap products; palm kernel oil; and cocoa butter substitutes. Further, it is involved in the palm oil, and oleochemical industry; organic chemical and bio energy businesses; investment holding; as well as provides transportation and office administration services. PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk was incorporated in 1962 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Purimas Sasmita.
