The company primarily focused on discovering and extracting diamond deposits. It held complete ownership of the Jericho property, which encompassed the Jericho Diamond mine situated in Nunavut. Furthermore, the corporation maintained stakes in various other exploration properties, including the Polar Project Lands, the Rockinghorse Property, and the Hood River property. Its main business activity involved the production and subsequent sale of rough diamonds. However, on January 16, 2008, Tahera Diamond Corporation sought bankruptcy protection under Canada's Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, initiating a period of reorganization from that date forward.
