These offerings cater to critical sectors like healthcare, construction, industrial manufacturing, transportation, and filtration. Meanwhile, the Engineered Papers segment supplies a range of specialized paper products. These include low ignition propensity cigarette papers engineered to self-extinguish when not actively smoked; reconstituted tobacco leaf, wrappers, and binders for machine-rolled cigars; alkaline battery separator papers; and standard paper grades utilized in printing, writing, flooring laminates, and food service packaging. The company also markets Botani, a line of hemp and botanical-based products, featuring hemp wraps, fillers, and rolling/pre-roll papers, specifically designed for the natural fibers industry. Established in 1995, SWM maintains its corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.
