The company furnishes specialized equipment, including quick die change solutions, press automation systems, flexible transfer mechanisms, and stacking/destacking apparatus, primarily aimed at optimizing metal stamping processes within the automotive industry and other manufacturing sectors. Furthermore, PRAC undertakes the engineering, fabrication, and deployment of bespoke electrical control panels. These panels are largely incorporated into production machinery and machine tools utilized in numerous industrial contexts, such as the automotive, adhesive and sealant, and food processing industries. PRAC’s clientele is broad, encompassing manufacturers of vehicles and automotive components, appliance producers, and steel service centers. It also supplies companies that produce lawn and garden equipment, office furnishings, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and heavy construction equipment. Its market reach extends across the United States and internationally. Established in 1993, the company was originally named Production Systems Acquisition Corporation, before adopting its current identity, Productivity Technologies Corp., in May 1996. Headquartered in Fenton, Michigan, PRAC maintains additional sales and engineering facilities in Michigan, Germany, and China.
