Established in 1983, the firm was previously known as Dynacor Mines Inc. before formally changing its name to Malaga Inc. in May 2007. Its primary corporate offices are located in Montreal, Canada. It should also be noted that as of June 6, 2013, Malaga Inc. was undergoing a reorganization process.
