Their leading product is a prothrombin monitor, which assesses blood coagulation in patients at risk of cardiovascular diseases and strokes. The company is also actively developing an array of other diagnostic tools. These include a consumer-oriented device to predict the onset of labor for maternity planning, a comprehensive biomarker monitor capable of identifying indicators for conditions such as heart attacks, HIV, cholesterol levels, and cancer. Further innovations under development feature a non-invasive device for continuous blood glucose concentration measurement, a digital scanning machine designed as a non-invasive alternative to traditional 2D X-rays, and an osteoporosis device providing instant bone mineral density readings for patients. Additionally, they are working on a portable digital strip reader for immunoassay applications. Formerly known as In Vivo Medical Diagnostics, Inc., the company officially adopted its current name in 2005. Its operations are headquartered in Inverness, United Kingdom.
