The company utilizes its proprietary DPX immune-educating technology platform to create a portfolio of treatments for various solid and hematological cancers. Its leading investigational drug, maveropepimut-S, is a DPX-based immunotherapy designed to target cancer cells that express survivin. Maveropepimut-S is currently undergoing Phase II clinical trials for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, ovarian cancer, and specific bladder, liver, and microsatellite instability-high tumors, with Phase I trials also active for breast cancer. Beyond its primary candidate, IMV is also advancing DPX-SurMAGE, which is in Phase I clinical trials for bladder cancer, and is developing DPX-COVID-19 and DPX-RSV to address infectious diseases. Originally founded in 2000 as Immunovaccine Inc., the company adopted the name IMV Inc. in May 2018 and operates from its headquarters in Dartmouth, Canada.
