The company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and distributing these high-performance materials, initially offering them in sheet, coil, and plate forms. Its market reach extends internationally, with a strong presence across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The company's product line includes two primary categories: high-temperature resistant alloys (HTAs) and corrosion-resistant alloys (CRAs). HTAs are critical for manufacturers of demanding equipment, such as jet engines in the aerospace sector, gas turbine engines for power generation, and various industrial heating systems. Beyond these core uses, Haynes International's alloys are also integral to a wide array of industries, such as flue-gas desulfurization, oil and gas exploration, waste incineration, industrial heat treating, the automotive sector, sensor and instrumentation manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, solar energy, and nuclear fuel applications. In addition to their initial forms, the company also fabricates its products into seamless and welded tubulars, as well as slabs, bars, billets, and wires. Haynes International primarily sells its specialized alloys through its own direct sales organizations, complemented by a comprehensive network of independent distributors and sales agents. The company was established in 1912 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Kokomo, Indiana.
