Furthermore, the company offers financial technology solutions, such as electronic money, payment processing, and both domestic and international money remittance services. Established in 2002, the firm was formerly recognized as PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk until its rebranding to PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk in March 2011, with its primary office located in Jakarta, Indonesia.
