Its business activities are structured into two key segments: the Sawn Timber Industry and the Panel Industry. The Sawn Timber division is responsible for manufacturing both raw sawn timber and a variety of value-added processed wood products. In contrast, the Panel Industry segment produces a wide range of wood-based panels, including various types of plywood (standard and thin), veneers, and chipboards. This segment also develops and supplies interior fittings for light and heavy commercial vehicles, marketed under its Kore brand. The company was established in 1909 and maintains its headquarters in Jarvela, Finland.
