Its marketed offerings include Bentrio, a non-pharmaceutical nasal spray designed for individual protection against prevalent airborne viruses and allergens. The company is also heavily invested in developing RNA therapeutics specifically for extrahepatic targets. This includes their preclinical OligoPhore and SemaPhore platforms, engineered for the effective delivery of oligonucleotides and mRNA. In its clinical-stage portfolio, AM-125 is undergoing Phase II trials for the intranasal treatment of vertigo. Additionally, Keyzilen and Sonsuvi are both in Phase III clinical development; Keyzilen is focused on acute inner ear tinnitus, and Sonsuvi addresses acute inner ear hearing loss. Established in 2003 and headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, Altamira Therapeutics conducts operations across Switzerland, the United States, Europe, and Australia. The company officially adopted the name Altamira Therapeutics Ltd. in July 2021, prior to which it was known as Auris Medical Holding Ltd.
