In its commercial segment, the company develops and manages projects such as shopping centers (which it also leases out), hotels, healthcare facilities, golf courses, and water parks. Established in 1981 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the firm was originally named PT Citra Habitat Indonesia before officially adopting its current name, PT Ciputra Development Tbk, in December 1990. The company operates as a subsidiary of PT Sang Pelopor.
