This brilliant white pigment finds extensive use across various industrial sectors, including paper manufacturing, polymers, paints, and the food and pharmaceutical industries. For the paper industry, the company offers a trio of SCC products specifically tailored for its needs: CalciLS, engineered for optimal light diffusion; CalciSG, designed for imparting a lustrous finish to high-grade printing and writing papers; and CalciRG, a performance-enhancing additive aimed at the rotogravure market. Beyond paper applications, CalciTech also provides CalciSP, designed for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, and CalciRC, which addresses polymer-based requirements in materials like plastics, sealants, rubber, and adhesives. Previously trading as Kemgas Ltd., the company adopted its current name, CalciTech Ltd., in July 2000. This change reflected a strategic shift towards the manufacturing and commercialization of SCC. Established in 1978, CalciTech Ltd. is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
