Further offerings in this segment include contract services, regional and specialized short-haul deliveries, and rail intermodal solutions. In contrast, the Asset-Light segment is dedicated to services such as freight brokerage, warehousing, consolidation of less-than-truckload shipments, and broader supply chain management. Finally, the Equipment Leasing and Services segment primarily serves independent contractors and other trucking fleets, providing sales and leasing for tractors and trailers, in addition to ancillary services like insurance and maintenance. The company transports a varied assortment of goods, including tobacco, various consumer products, automotive parts, a range of home furnishings and fixtures, lawn tractors and related equipment, light bulbs, and numerous engine components.
