The company also manufactures ultra-pure chitosans under the Ultrasan brand and offers both manufacturing and analytical services. Founded in 1994 and based in Laval, Canada, BioSyntech Inc. initiated administration proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act on May 12, 2010, and is currently undergoing reorganization.
