The firm specializes in a diverse range of civil engineering projects, including marine structures, road networks, bridges, metropolitan transport systems, power generation facilities, tunneling, oil and gas installations, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks. Its marine expertise encompasses the development of ports, harbor jetties, dry and wet docks, protective breakwaters, essential outfall and intake structures, and efficient material handling systems. On land, Afcons builds roads, complex interchanges, railway infrastructure for mining operations, dams, barrages, and various water and irrigation schemes, alongside both road tunnels and other underground constructions. Further expanding its portfolio, the company constructs elevated and subterranean metro lines, flyovers, and elevated corridors, in addition to undertaking both onshore and offshore oil and gas ventures. Originally established as Asia Foundations and Constructions Limited, the company adopted its current name, Afcons Infrastructure Limited, in August 1996. Founded in 1959, its corporate headquarters are located in Mumbai, India.
