The company generates electricity through renewable energy and thermal power plants, as well as battery storage linked to solar farms. It also engages in the generation, transmission, distribution, and supply of electricity using conventional energy sources and renewable sources. The company has a total renewable energy generation capacity of 7,001 megawatts (MW), including 4,624 MW of solar energy, 1,958 MW of wind power, and 115 MW of geothermal resources; and 304 MW of battery storage linked to solar farms. In addition, it is involved in oil, gas, and geothermal exploration; project development; investment holding and management; shared; and advisory/consultancy services, as well as coal power generation. In addition, it engages in retail electricity and water supply businesses; and leasing and land development activities, as well as distributes petroleum products. Further, the company provides industrial instrumentations. The company was formerly known as AC Energy Corporation and changed its name to Acen Corporation in July 2022. The company was incorporated in 1969 and is based in Makati City, the Philippines. Acen Corporation operates as a subsidiary of AC Energy and Infrastructure Corporation.
