Beyond its primary interest in gold, the firm also conducts exploration for silver, copper, zinc, and diamond deposits. Its portfolio includes complete ownership of several key properties in Quebec: the Elder Mine and Tagami Property, both situated near Rouyn-Noranda; the Abcourt-Barvue and Vendome silver-zinc projects in Barraute; the Aldermac property, also close to Rouyn-Noranda; and the Jonpol property near Amos. Furthermore, Abcourt Mines fully controls the Sleeping Giant mine in Abitibi and the Discovery-Flordin gold project, located northwest of Lebel-sur-QuΓ©villon. Established in 1971, the company's corporate headquarters are based in Rouyn-Noranda, Canada.
