Its comprehensive portfolio spans industrial automation, encompassing both hardware components like instrumentation and actuators, and sophisticated, proprietary software-centric systems such as distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Complementing these are value-added software packages, including simulation training systems, the HolliAS asset management system, advanced process control, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Notably, Hollysys also develops the HOLLiAS MACS-N DCS, a specialized proprietary automation and control system for non-safety functions in nuclear power plants. Beyond industrial applications, the company is a key supplier to the transportation sector, delivering advanced train control centers capable of real-time monitoring of route and track conditions, managing train schedules and spacing, and issuing critical control commands. Furthermore, Hollysys provides automatic train protection (ATP) systems to prevent over-speed incidents, alongside an open-architecture Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) platform. Its service offerings extend to research and development, comprehensive integrated automation control system solutions, mechanical and electrical engineering, and installation services. Additionally, Hollysys addresses specialized needs in sectors like medicine and healthcare, industrial digitization, and industrial information security. Serving a diverse client base across industrial, railway, subway, nuclear power, and mechanical and electronic sectors, Hollysys Automation Technologies Ltd. was established in 1993. Headquartered in Beijing, People's Republic of China, the company operated as HLS Systems International Ltd. before adopting its current name in July 2009.
