The Special Applications segment is dedicated to conceiving, producing, and commercializing lighting technology and electronic solutions for a diverse range of specialized vehicles, such as construction and agricultural machinery, buses, caravans, and marine craft. Founded in 1899, the company is headquartered in Lippstadt, Germany. The entity, previously known as HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co., adopted its present corporate identity, HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA, in October 2017. Currently, HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA operates as a subsidiary of Faurecia S.E.
