In the aerospace and defense domains, IHI provides aero engines, air traffic control systems, and comprehensive rocket and space exploration technologies. Established in 1853, the company was originally known as Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., before rebranding as IHI Corporation in 2007.
