The company was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Pasay City, Philippines. SMIC's Property division is multifaceted, focusing on the development and management of malls, residential areas, and commercial spaces. It also oversees the operation of hotels and convention centers, and is involved in creating and transforming entire districts for residential, commercial, entertainment, and tourism purposes.
