Meanwhile, its Commercial Property Development unit is responsible for identifying, funding, constructing, leasing out, and ultimately selling commercial real estate assets. Furthermore, Skanska manufactures essential building supplies such as asphalt, various forms of gravel, rock, specific road construction materials, macadam, and concrete. Beyond its core segments, the enterprise is involved in building new structures and refurbishing existing ones. It also delivers infrastructure services covering operational management, upkeep, and new builds, provides stone restoration expertise, and offers machinery and equipment for hire. Established in 1887, Skanska AB (publ) maintains its principal office in Stockholm, Sweden.
