It also manufactures and sells telemedicine devices and equipment, medical and laboratory equipment, general IT and communication hardware, and electronic components. Positivo serves a varied customer base including educational institutions, retail channels, corporate clients, and government entities. Incorporated in 1989, the company, originally known as Positivo Informática S.A., officially changed its name to Positivo Tecnologia S.A. in April 2017. Its headquarters are located in Curitiba, Brazil.
