Expanding its scope, Capstone also delivers a variety of energy conversion products, such as hybrid energy stations, industrial gas turbines (including those from Baker Hughes), and hydrogen-based combined heat and power (CHP) solutions. Moreover, their portfolio encompasses advanced energy storage products, specifically microgrid storage systems and lithium-ion battery energy storage systems. Sales and distribution are primarily managed through a network of independent distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Historically, the entity was known as Capstone Turbine Corporation, undergoing a name change to Capstone Green Energy Corporation in April 2021. Established in 1988, its corporate headquarters are located in Van Nuys, California.
