It also holds a 21.5% working interest in approximately 1,840 acres of oil and gas leases within the Warbonnet area of the Pinedale Field in Sublette County, Wyoming. Further operations extend to the Williston Basin in North Dakota. In Colorado, XXL Energy maintains a 16.98% working interest in the Piceance Basin, encompassing four producing and four non-producing natural gas wells. Established in 1987, the company adopted its current name, XXL Energy Corp., in May 2008, having previously operated as Exxel Energy Corp. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Vancouver, Canada.
