This segment also operates as a title insurance provider, offering policies, conducting examinations, and managing closing services for individuals buying M/I Homes properties. Originally established in Columbus, Ohio, in 1976, the company was initially named M/I Schottenstein Homes, Inc. It adopted its current name, M/I Homes, Inc., in January 2004.
