Additionally, the company provides men's and boys' underwear, as well as ladies' panties, under the Gildan and Gildan Platinum labels. Ladies' shapewear, intimates, and accessories are also part of their offerings, available through the Secret and Secret Silky brands. Gildan distributes its products to a broad customer base, including wholesale distributors, screen printers, embellishers, retailers, and lifestyle brand companies. The company, originally established in 1946 as Textiles Gildan Inc., officially adopted the name Gildan Activewear Inc. in March 1995 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
